About Us

Founded in 2008, Gramercy Consulting Group LLC (“GCG”) is an independent financial advisory firm oriented to give high net worth and institutional clients impartial third party advice on portfolio and risk management strategies.  We  utilize our professional experience in capital markets and asset management origination to become a trusted advisor to our investor clients without the conflicts of interest that can often cloud other industry advisor’s judgement.

We provide customized investment management services, employing global tactical asset allocation to fixed income, equity, and/or commodity low-fee mutual funds or exchange traded funds (ETFs), and include equity volatility overlay strategies for return enhancement when appropriate for the client.  All investment management services are provided through well established third-party brokers/custodians with full direct client on-line access transparency.

GCG also provides risk management advisory, hedge transaction design, and implementation of strategies designed to preserve wealth for high net worth individuals or mitigate earnings / balance sheet risk for institutions.

How can GCG add value?

GCG starts with the belief from years of experience as a capital markets practitioner that there are many inefficiencies in the investment management industry, with clients often overpaying for suboptimal services.  Many asset allocation decisions are reached without a proper review of a client’s overall investment goals, close attention to portfolio composition in rapidly changing markets, or an in-depth understanding of a client’s risk tolerance.

GCG’s goal is to address these inefficiencies and add value through portfolio reviews and asset allocation recommendations appropriate to the client’s risk tolerance as well as detailed attention to the changing dynamics of the financial markets.

Specifically, GCG has provided clients with:

  • Overall portfolio reviews to identify exposures and concentration risks
  • Manager performance reviews and benchmark comparison analysis
  • Identifying investment opportunities for superior risk-adjusted returns
  • More optimal, transparent, and customized investment management services
  • Superior client service and customized client attention
